HEBREW BIBLE. Biblia Hebraica, ex aliquot manuscriptis et compluribus impressis codicibus, item Masora… recensita… accedunt loca Scripturae parallela… brevesque adnotationes… eura ae studio D. Io. Heinr. Michaelis… Halae Magdeburgicae: Typis & sumtibus Orphanotrophei, 1720. Two volumes. Michaelis (1668-1738), the editor, used five manuscripts and 19 other editions, ultimately basing his text on Jablonski's 1699 Berlin edition, which itself was a collation of all the cardinal editions as well as manuscripts. This polyglot Bible in Hebrew has the notes surrounding text, preface, and title page in Latin. Title page in red and black. With errata list. Darlow & Moule 5144.
