Richard Holmes served as the Librarian of Windsor Castle and wrote this largely personal biography to refute the "many little myths" which had grown up around Victoria's life; this work was published four years before her death in 1901.
Interior generally clean with a few spots of marginal foxing; cloth boards a bit toned, handsome morocco binding with expert repairs to joints. Near-fine condition.
