Autograph letter signed from Mother Teresa, declining to become a patron of a charity.
The letter, on Missionaries of Charity letterhead, reads: "Calcutta. 10/3/74. Dear Francis, Thanks for your letters—I have been away all this time and so the delay. On principal I do not accept to become a patron to any organisation of any kind. I will pray very much for you all that may bless your work. God bless you, M. Teresa." Mother Teresa received the Nobel Peace price in 1979. In 2016, she was canonized by Pope Francis, becoming Saint Teresa of Calcutta.
