Early edition of Maynard’s translation of Josephus, beautifully illustrated with 58 copper plates—three engraved by William Blake—two color-outlined maps and a large folding plan of Jerusalem.

Text and plates quite clean. A very few minor marginal repaired closed tears, including to verso of folding plan. An attractively bound copy in very nearly fine condition.
