Includes an act for regulating places of public entertainment, an act for making more effectual the laws prohibiting the importation of spirituous liquors and of tea found on any British ship not belonging to the East India Company, acts for the better supply of mariners and seamen to serve in His Majesty's Ships of War and to better enforce discipline of His Majesty's marine forces while on shore, and a continuance of an act for encouraging the making of indigo in the American colonies. This collection prints the full text of the 25 most important acts of the year, each with an abstract at rear, and a table of other acts passed during the year but not printed in this collection.
