Julia's Kitchen Wisdom

FIRST EDITION OF JULIA’S KITCHEN WISDOM, INSCRIBED BY JULIA CHILD TO HER COUSIN

CHILD, Julia. Julia's Kitchen Wisdom. New York: Alfred A. Knopf, 2000. Quarto, original red and green paper boards, original dust jacket.

First edition of this delicious guide to the culinary wisdom of Julia Child, with 12 color and black-and-white illustrations after photographs by Paul Child, inscribed on the half title: "Bon Appétit to Annie. Cousin Julia."

Julia Child described Julia's Kitchen Wisdom as emerging from a "loose-leaf kitchen reference guide" that she revised over "40 years of happy collaboration on cookery with colleagues and friends." Inspired by her PBS television special of the same title, this friendly book of valuable culinary tips is illustrated with 12 color and black-and-white images after photographs by Paul Child. Co-authored with David Nussbaum.

Book fine, dust jacket about-fine. A lovely inscribed copy.
