Early trade edition published circa the 1992 Republican National Convention, with a tipped-in 1988 Bush/Quayle campaign brochure signed by George H.W. Bush.

Written by Robert Stinnett, a combat photographer who flew with Bush (a pilot) in his torpedo bomber, "The Barbara," this work focuses on Bush's World War II military service, during which he was flew 58 combat missions, was shot down twice, and earned the Distinguished Flying Cross. President Bush also holds the distinction of having been the youngest Navy pilot ever, having earned his wings at just 19 years old. This work contains dozens of photos from the Bush family's personal collection, from military archives, and from President Bush's own albums. Published the same year as (but preceded by) a limited edition published for the 1992 Republican National Convention. The first edition was published in 1991. With ephemera related to George H.W. Bush.
