This illuminated leaf is from a French illuminated choirbook, circa 1500. The recto includes a very large letter "S" in red and white filigree on a gilt and blue ground decorated with bluebells.
Left edge of initial trimmed, faint rubbing and crease to initial. Extremely good condition.
