These handsome volumes present 124 masterful depictions of memorable Bible stories—among them the Great Flood, the binding of Isaac, the reception of the Law, Samson and Delilah, Belshazzar's feast and numerous subjects from Jesus' life and teachings—by such renowned artists as Poussin, Raphael, Caracci, Giordano, Henry Melville, Rubens, Rembrandt and da Vinci. Scattered light foxing. Spines lightly rubbed, light abrasions to boards, gilt bright. Extremely good condition.
