(WORLD WAR II). Poster: Every Rivet a Bullet. London: H.M. Stationery Office, circa 1940. Original two-color broadside poster measuring 20 by 30 inches, closely framed, measures 22-1/2 by 32-1/2 inches.

Dramatic original World War II two-color poster depicting a shipyard with the words "Every Rivet a Bullet—Speed the Ships."

This original 1940 poster attests to the importance of the race to build ships to evade and defeat Germany's attempted stranglehold on shipping to the island nation, while the Royal Air Force desperately defended the homeland from the Luftwaffe in the Battle of Britain. De-accessioned by The Valentine Museum, Richmond, Virginia.

Faint folding creases and small split at fold. Very nearly fine condition.
