Letter reads: “April 5, 1876. Mr. George Houghton. Dear sir, I regret to say that I have not a sketch of Penny (?) for your thought. But-you could give that title to any anything down to a jap(?) napkin. Yours truly, Winslow Homer.” Matted with striking photograph of Homer working in his studio.
