Scarce Haggadah in Kurdish-Aramaic, printed in Israel in 1959 for the newly arrived Jews of Kurdistan in Iraq.
"The 'ingathering of exiles' into Israel following the establishment of the state included the most varied and exotic Jewish groups. Among those who arrived from the far-flung oriental diasporas were the Jews of Kurdistan in Iraq. In addition to Arabic, these Jews employed a dialect of ancient Aramaic" (Yerushalmi 191). This Haggadah is in Hebrew and Kurdish-Aramaic, published by Ash'ab Abidani in "the tenth year of the State of Israel, may the Lord establish it well." Yaari 2697.
Just a touch of toning to wrapper edges. A fine copy of this scarce item.
