Limited first edition of the last novel Lawrence published before his death, number 122 of only 450 copies printed, beautifully illustrated with full-color paintings by Lawrence.

This is a tale of the resurrection, written at a time when Lawrence knew he was dying. Fifty copies of this limited edition were printed on Japanese vellum and signed. The first trade edition was not printed until 1931, at which time it was renamed The Man Who Died. Roberts A50.

Book fine, light wear to slipcase and fragile glassine, with tear with loss to back panel of glassine. A near-fine copy.
