Large vintage photographs of the September 29th, 1941 Dodger victory parade through Brooklyn after winning the National League pennant.

The 1941 National League Pennant race was won by the Dodgers by just 2-1/2 games over St. Louis, with the Dodgers led by MVP Dolph Camilli (with 34 homers and 120 RBI), rookie Pete Reiser (who hit a league-high .343), and pitchers Whitlow Wyatt and Kirby Higbe. In what became known as the “Subway Series,” they faced their cross-town rivals, the Yankees, ultimately losing in five games; although the Yankees only managed two home runs and averaged a mediocre .247, the Dodgers got even less production with only one homer and a miserable .182 average.
