This work attempts to show how the theories of great economists such as Ricardo and Mill relate to the later theories of economists such as Marshall and Walras and even their successors. He served as both a senior portfolio officer and a senior financial analyst. Prior to that, he was an international economist at several major financial institutions. Mathis was credited with developing the legacy country-risk-evaluation systems for those banks. Mathis has also published several economics works in his field.
