This collection includes "Litanie," Salandri's stirring sequence of 81 religiously themed sonnets; hymns dedicated to Pope Clement XIV; verses composed for the weddings of Peter Leopold of Austria (later Holy Roman Emperor Leopold II) with Maria Luisa of Spain, and Duke Ferdinand I of Bourbon-Parma with Maria Amalia of Austria; along with songs and odes "di vario argomento" and sonnets "per diverse occasioni." With a biographical notice of the abbot. Text in Italian.
Fine condition. A lovely volume. Scarce.
