Published the same year David Turnley was awarded a Pulitzer Prize for photography and his brother Peter Turnley won the Overseas Press Club Award, Moments of Revolution follows their earlier collaboration, Beijing Spring (1989), with striking coverage of the fall of the Berlin Wall and Ceausescu’s dictatorship in Romania, as well as climactic events throughout Eastern Europe. “Separately or together, the brothers have photographed almost every important international news event of the last 15 years” (New York Times).
