First edition of this literary journal issue, inscribed: “For Jerry Granat, Ansel Adams, Carmel, 10.28.80,” signed and dated in the margin of his “Photograph-1940”: “Ansel Adams. Carmel 11-14-80.” and additionally signed by Ansel Adams next to the caption.

This issue of Twice a Year features Ansel Adams’ “Photograph-1940” and Georgia O’Keeffe’s “Abstraction-1927,” as well as a story by Proust, poems by Peyton Houston, Alvin Foote, and Philipp Flesch, and numerous other pieces on federalism, poetry, civil liberties, and more. This copy is inscribed to and bears the owner inscription of Jerry Granat, the well-known autograph collector.

Book very nearly fine, dust jacket very good with mild rubbing and toning, one tape repair to verso, and a bit of wear to extremities. An attractive copy, rare inscribed and signed three times by Ansel Adams.
