First edition of Thomas Struth’s first book published in America, with 21 color and 37 duotone plates (including two gatefolds).

First edition, published in conjunction with the January-March 1994 exhibit at Boston’s Institute of Contemporary Art, preceding two subsequent editions: a later 1994 edition accompanying an exhibit at the London ICA, and a 1995 exhibit at the Art Gallery of Ontario, Toronto.
