Scarce.

"One of Japan's most respected and influential contemporary photographers… Daido Moriyama is indeed an urban wanderer, an outsider, feral in his ways, often shooting from the hip, sometimes on the run, or from the shadows… an image thief, snapping away on impulse and intuition… His career and life demonstrate a rare kind of bravery" (New York Times). One of the founders of Japan's influential magazine Provoke, Moriyama shoots mainly black-and-white, using a hand-held camera to create photographs that fuse his "sharp physiological vision… with a radical experimental consciousness" (Tucker, 221). With over 200 black-and-white photogravures printed on glossy stock and 25 full-color plates, each full-bleed, many double page. With essay by Takeshi Nakamoto, text in Japanese, English and Spanish. See Parr & Badger I:300; Roth, 218.

A fine copy.
