With tipped-in color frontispiece of The Corner House and over 100 illustrations, 12 of which are color and full-page, and many by Bernard Sargent, and illustrated end-papers of Corner House 1912. Charles W. Engelhard was a major gold entrepreneur in South Africa and the reputed inspiration of Ian Fleming's character "Goldfinger." Unique copy created for the Chairman of Rand Mines, Limited, on the occasion of its 75th Anniversary.
