Photograph printed by Kertész’s studio depicting a farm in Hungary, signed, dated and captioned in his hand, apparently produced to promote the publication of Sixty Years of Photography (though it does not appear in the book).

Kertész was "one of the first photographers to demonstrate the tremendous richness of the street… his work is known for its wit, composition, and sense of the unusual" (Blodgett, 96). This exceptional photograph is captioned by Kertész in pencil, "Esztergom, Feb. 1-1917, A. Kertész." Studio stamp on verso.
