Photograph printed by Kertész’s studio depicting a line of three large crosses in Hungary, dated and captioned by him, apparently produced to promote the publication of Sixty Years of Photography (though it does not appear in the book).

Kertész was "one of the first photographers to demonstrate the tremendous richness of the street… his work is known for its wit, composition, and sense of the unusual" (Blodgett, 96). This photograph of the "Esztergom" is apparently unpublished. Captioned in pencil by Kertesz on verso: "Esztergom, March 28— 1917." Studio stamp on verso.
