Beautifully detailed turn-of-the-century Japanese woodblock print of a sumo wrestler.

This print features an image of the champion sumo wrestler Orochigata Daigoro, whose wrestling career spanned the years 1885 through 1907. Prints such as this one were sold as commemorative broadsides at sumo matches to honor favorite wrestlers.

Only some light edge-wear and rubbing as is usual with this type of paper. Very good condition.
