Limited “Lyceum Edition” of Schiller’s works, number 263 of only 750 sets numbered for sale in the United States, with numerous full-page illustrations throughout, including full-color frontispieces.

Includes the poems, a life of Schiller by Heinrich Düntzer, and the aesthetical and philosophical essays. This set specially bound for Ernst Mahler, who helped transform Kimberly Clark into one of the largest paper corporations in the world.

Interiors fine. Minor wear to corners of handsome bindings. A near-fine set.
