Signed limited broadside edition of one of Ferlinghetti's most beloved poems, letter U of 26 copies published by Sore Dove Press and signed by City Lights co-founder and poet Lawrence Ferlinghetti, accompanied by a baseball also signed by Ferlinghetti, in publisher's leatherette clamshell box.

Originally written in 1973, Ferlinghetti's famous poem mentions Giants stars including Willie Mays, Tito Fuentes, and Juan Marichal. Ferlinghetti, a lifelong progressive, also reflects on ethnic diversity in baseball and San Francisco's ethnic tensions. The publisher, Sore Dove Press, is noted for publishing poetry chapbooks and broadsides, mostly in small editions like this limited edition of just 26.
