First trade edition of this delightful memoir written by the Bouvier sisters about their summer in Europe, inscribed by Princess Lee Radziwill under her maiden name: "For Mr Newman with best regards—Lee Bouvier. May 6th 1975," and signed by her sister, Jackie Bouvier Kennedy.

A delightful book by the two Bouvier sisters about their summer traveling through Europe in 1951, when Jackie was 22 and Lee 17. They originally wrote and illustrated the book as a gift for their mother and stepfather, who let them go on the trip. Entirely hand-written by the two women, and illustrated on almost every page by Jackie, who was a skilled caricaturist, the book conveys their girlish innocence and delight in being abroad together for the first time. In less than ten years, Jackie would be the First Lady of the United States and charm Paris on an official state visit with the president, and Lee would be married to Price Stanislaw Radziwill. Upon rediscovering this manuscript in 1974, the sisters decided to publish it, "with not a word or a pen stroke changed." With photographs and copies of cables. A signed limited first edition of 500 copies was also issued. This copy was inscribed and presumably signed on May 6, 1975, less than two months after the death of Jackie Kennedy's second husband, Aristotle Onassis.
