This anonymous account traces the history of North America from its discovery to the British colonization of America and Canada. With separate chapters on the history of New England, the Massachusetts Bay colony, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, Carolina, Georgia, Florida, and Louisiana, as well as accounts of New Britain and Nova Scotia.
