Archive of 13 signed Christmas cards from members of the British royal family, including from George VI, the Queen Mother, Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, and Prince Charles and Princess Diana, together with signed photographs and autograph letters from other royal family members.

Spanning 50 years, the cards in this collection include:

1933. Large Christmas card with colored photo of Elizabeth II as a child, signed by Elizabeth and Albert, future Queen Elizabeth and King George VI.

1938. Christmas card inscribed by Princess Mary, the Princess Royal, Countess of Harewood (the only daughter of George V), illustrated by a photograph taken by her in Famagusta, Cyprus: "To Dear Godfrey… to you and Babe from Mary."

1943. Christmas card signed by George VI and Elizabeth, with image of them with the Princesses Elizabeth and Margaret.

1944. Christmas card signed by "Mary R," Mary of Teck, wife of George V.

1946 (circa). Christmas card signed by the Princesses Elizabeth and Margaret, illustrated with a photograph of the two on a staircase.

1948. Christmas card signed by George VI and Queen Elizabeth, illustrated with an image of them with the Princesses Elizabeth and Margaret.

1950 (circa). Christmas card signed by Princess Elizabeth and Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, illustrated with a photograph of the two of them with young Prince Charles and the infant Princess Anne.

1951. Christmas card signed by George VI and Queen Elizabeth, illustrated with a color photograph of Buckingham Palace.

1983. Christmas card inscribed by Charles and signed by Diana, illustrated with a photograph of Charles and Diana picture with a young Prince William.

Also included with these cards are a circa 1840 autograph letter signed by Princess Mary, daughter of George III and later the Duchess of Gloucester; a circa 1890 autograph letter signed by Mary Adelaide, Duchess of Teck, Great-Grandmother of Elizabeth II; a 1904 autograph note. From Queen Mary of Teck (wife of George V) reading "for dear Beatty with best wishes from Victoria Mary Xmas 1904. A white knitted shawl"; a large 1950 black-and-white photograph of Prince Henry (3rd son of George V) and Princess Alice (Duke and Duchess of Gloucester), signed by both; a large 1950 black-and-white photograph of Mary, Princess Royal, Countess of Harewood (only daughter of George V). signed by her; a large 1962 black-and-white photograph of Prince Philip, signed and dated on the mount; a 1969 Envelope with a first day stamp from investiture of Prince Charles as Prince of Wales, signed by Edward, Duke of Windsor.
