Published as a promotional gift for children visiting the Santa at Hochschild, Kohn, & Co. Department Store, this 1932 activity book promised to entertain young readers with poems, puzzles, drawing pages, and crafts. Baltimore's Hochschild Kohn was the city's largest—and most popular—department store chain. Its fortunes depended heavily on those of Baltimore's residents and it eventually closed during the early 1980s.
