First edition of Captain Lyon’s valuable account of Parry’s second and last expedition in search of the Northwest Passage, with a large folding map showing the nautical routes of the Fury and the Hecla and seven engraved plates depicting the Inuit and the landscape through which the expedition traversed.

During Parry's second and final expedition in search of a Northwest Passage, Lyon served as captain of the Hecla. The expedition traveled through Hudson's Bay and came in contact with the Inuit of Baffin Island and the Melville Peninsula.
