Signed limited large-paper edition, number 246 of only 250 sets signed and dated (“Jany 9th 1896”) by Harriet Beecher Stowe in Volume I, with 33 illustrated frontispieces and title pages, beautifully bound in full morocco-gilt. Autographed on the fly leaf by the author for this edition “a few months before her death.”

A collection of Stowe’s prose and poetry, including Uncle Tom’s Cabin and A Key to Uncle Tom’s Cabin, Dred: A Tale of the Great Dismal Swamp, The Minister’s Wooing, her New England books, and seven first printings of lesser works, with a separate posthumously published collection of her letters with biographical commentary.
